Apparently the entire population of Fandom, or close to it, was out of town this week. Adrian saw this as a bad thing. People were his real entertainment.

"Guess you'll have to do," Adrian told Tino, who was setting up for the night.

Without context, Tino had no idea what he was talking about. Adrian was okay with that.
