Homecoming Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning in the Park

There hadn't been too much trouble arranging the brunch in the park. Jennifer had enlisted the help of various people, and even got people like that scary teacher Mr. Dukes to help pitch in.

There was a harvest theme in the tent, with the tablecloths and napkins all in reds, yellows and oranges. There were centerpieces on the tables of cornucopias with edible fruits! There was also, of course, every kind of brunch food imaginable set up at the buffet table. There were even some food items there that didn't even qualify as brunch. And for some reason, there were biscuits baked in the shape of fish.

Jennifer found them oddly tasty.

"No, you don't have to do that," Sam said quickly. "He'd lie to you. Really."

"Oh I'm sure." Just like Max would lie about Isabel. It's what brothers did. "Speaking of Dean, how's he doing?"

"He's doing really well. He's been hunting with Alec, just like he's always wanted to do."

"I've told him they have an open invitation to my couch in Vegas," Isabel replied. "So we'll have to see if they turn up."

"Oh God, Dean in Vegas," Sam said. "You'll have to make sure he doesn't take any showgirls with him when he leaves."

"I could frisk him. He'd probably enjoy it."

"He would, but that would mean he'd let you do it until you were satisfied."

"And that could take a while."

Sam laughed. "I'm sure he'd enjoy it very much. He might even give you a reason to frisk him just to make sure you do it."

"The feather boa hanging out of his pocket might be a good clue," Isabel grinned, amused by the image.

"You might have to check the car too, to make sure he's not hiding someone in the backseat," Sam advised.
