Trick or Treating, All Across Town, Saturday

Deep in the shadows of the town, angry discarded candies were lurking for their chance to be eaten. The people who had set out the Trick or Treating route this year didn't care: this was an important tradition, and one they were set to uphold. Even if it meant they had to sacrifice a few members to munch on dried-out confectionary.

All Cable needed to know was that all had gone well thusfar. 2009's Halloween trick-or-treating was ready and set to go, and they'd even put out a few Halloween decorations outside to mark the way.

"Just don't let it go to your head and think you can take on a ghost or something," John offered as his parting comment. He didn't want to have to end his Hallowe'en pulling his son's double's (or was that triple by now?) fat out of the fryer because he took the Dean costume too far.

"Bye bye Not Dee!" Grace called waving at him as she was led off by her father.
