Pixie Dust, Thursday
Okay, so she was late. Call it fashionably late, or whatever. Elena was going to help herself to some of the absinthe behind the counter -- which had a lovely kick to it -- and then convince herself to buy that one dress she'd been eying. She did have a totally-not-a-date-dammit this weekend ...

She grimaced at her dress.
"Yes, lets totally find other disasters." Ino laughed.

Still wearing the pink disaster, Elena was going to make her way over to the wall of shoes. And if that failed, check the burn room.

"I wish I had that much money to waste on shoes that were way too expensive, geez," she answered, looking dubiously at a pair of heels.

Turks didn't go in for investing for the future, since they weren't expected to have futures. Gambling had failed to interest her, and she wasn't the type to go boozing or whoring. She'd settled on becoming a clotheshorse.
"I actually just spent an obscene amount of money on a pair of shoes. For a special occasion, of the very stupid variety. But they're beautiful shoes."
Sometimes, she was such a girl.

Well. Okay, Ino would've asked anyway, but this way she gave Elena an out.
"Lucky you--my pay ain't nearly so high, it gets better as you go up in rank, but," she shrugged, "not there yet."

She crouched down, counting rows until she found -- ah, there. She pulled a box out and held one of the shoes (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Rellyjean/elena/dior_cartagena_sandals.jpg) out in her hand.
"Look at these," she said, almost reverently.

A beat.
"But seriously, now I gotta see the dress that goes with those darlings."

"At least I'll look elegant, right?"
