The Docks | Saturday Evening

The fog around the docks was thick as always, the perfect place to skulk about when you were up to no good. John wasn't up to anything good, a single rose tucked into his lapel as he stalked about the docks. He'd received both flowers and a special message from a heavy breather and wondered idly what that could possibly be about. Perhaps some old flame returned, not that it mattered. Too busy to deal with nonsense, John glared out into the murky dusk to brood about the state of his soul.

Somehow he'd get Skywalker, Bass, and those incestuous Winchesters. He'd make them pay for what they'd done, turning him into a murderer and a thug. He was a Sheppard for Christ's sake! His people raised ponies in Vermont!

One day, when this was all over, he'd return to his adopted family and embrace their pacifist way of life once more. But first, that bitch Charles had to die!

"Slut," John muttered. "Running off to him like you did back when you were trying to have me killed?"

Pointing a finger at him threateningly, she said, "I had no more use for you, and he was better in bed!"

Her finger was like a dare. He stepped closer till she wasn't pointing so much as pressing the tip of her finger against firm muscle. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that. It might make it true one day."

"It's already true," she snapped, and since he was this close anyway, she raised her free hand and slapped him.

She had amazing reach with that hand, and the slap caught him off guard. "I'd forgotten you liked it rough," John told her, smirking as he rubbed at his stinging cheek.

That smirk was incredibly hot all of a sudden. Which was why she then went to make out with him.

As if he was going to complain about a slap that landed him some seriously hot making out. John got with the program immediately, appreciating the cover the fog provided in case Charles had him followed.

Jaina kissed him for just long enough to make the audience think something more would happen, and then she pulled away roughly. "This isn't over!"

She always pulled away just when it was getting good. "Yeah, it never is," he returned, wiping his mouth on the back of his hand and wondering if he could manage a piece of that before Charles got to her.
