"Where the hell is Eriksen!" Barney wasn't impressed by Tino's shrug and took it upon himself to get behind the bar and pour himself a niiiiiice tall drink. It went well with his cigar.

"What do you mean there's no smoking in the bar?" Barney scoffed, flicking ash in Tino's direction. "Let's let the zombies decide."

'Course, the zombies didn't talk so much as grunt and Barney was playing translator so he won, and Tino leaned downwind, coughing fakely.

Caritas was open!

Barney took a puff on his cigar and leaned over the counter. "Sorry, Jimbo, I don't serve anyone I don't intend to take to the mattresses, if you know what I mean." Just in case Barney wasn't clear.

"Tino, beer!" Barney called over his shoulder at the sadly coughing barman. "You can, just not from me."

"A better word would be pointing out Tino's inability to get any action at all." Oh, how little Barney knew.

"I'm sure Tino does just fine for himself," Jim said, defending Tino's honor. "At the very least, he's here every night. He's bound to pick up someone here at the bar once in a while."

Barney looked Tino over, not believing that for a second. "Sure. If you can do it, there's hope for Tino!"

"You do realize that you're smoking in a non-smoking establishment," Gibbs said quietly as he began to scribble out something on his writing pad.

Barney jumped about twelve feet and nearly choked on his cigar.

"Hey, Roomie," he coughed, smacking his chest. "You gotta stop sneaking up on people like that!"

"And you need to put out that cigar," Gibbs said smoothly as he handed Barney a very expensive ticket. "It's against the town ordinance."

"What?" Barney's eyes nearly bugged out when he looked at what he was expected to pay for this when Marshall should have been working. "Come on, this town? You can shoot someone in the streets but you can't have a smoke in a bar?"
