The beach, Saturday afternoon

Dinah couldn't take the indoors for another minute, so she headed to the beach, calling Jak first, then left a message for Jack Priest, and figured she'd better call Momoko too. She had her phone with her if they wanted to catch up to her sooner. This way she wouldn't be waiting in her dorm room for someone in particular to maybe not show up all afternoon. Maybe not totally logical, but it kept her sane. While there, she got a rather upsetting call from Roy, so she called him back.

Right now she was playing with the water, making a whip, then sending it sailing out into the surf. Extra points for distance, huge splashes, and twirls.

[open as a beach is!]

Oz had gotten a rather confusing call too, and decided to go for a walk to take his mind off it.

The sight of a familiar girl doing cool stuff with water helped. "You doing that?"

"Yeah." he nodded. "Nice control."

"Is water easier than other stuff?"

"Good. Cold." And bored and lonely, but that wasn't something to go into really. "Makes me miss California."

"It piqued my interest, so I came back." he nodded.

"Yeah. Even the gremlins."

"You too." he smiled, waving. He continued on his walk, ruminating and musing.
