The Gig, Sunday

There were no arguments about whether to go outside or stay in today.

There was, however, a firepit in the middle of the barn floor, with a small (carefully controlled, thank you) fire crackling away to keep wolves and horses warm.

Tending the horses was at least a welcome distraction from worrying (though she'd never admit out loud to worrying) about Tahiri. Their conversation of a few weeks ago had been reassuring as to the fact that her friend was following the right trail, at least.

[ooc: post is late, but open.]

Helen had to check on the horses. Not that she thought Blysse wouldn't take good care of them, but still, times like these sometimes you just wanted to make sure everything you cared about was okay.

She smiled shyly at Blysse and Blind Seer when she came in - quickly to keep as much heat as possible inside. "Hello," she said uncertainly. "I just wanted to make sure all was well here."

Helen nodded. "I... brought hot tea for you, if you'd like. I wasn't sure what to bring for Blind Seer, though."

Helen handed over one of the large steaming cups. "I thought of bringing him meat, but I just wasn't certain."

Helen could almost tell what Blind Seer was saying. She could feel a sense of him in her head, not as clear as she could the horses or other animals, but a little.

She nodded. "I would have brought it raw," she agreed.

She was quiet for a moment, then slowly said, "Would you... would you be unhappy if I stayed here with the horses? I wouldn't bother either of you. I could just stay off to the side with them."
