Support Services First Aid Station at Caritas: Sunday Daytime

Having had her fun with the gremlins yesterday, Morgana had agreed to set up the Support Services station today, in case anyone needed first aid or supplies. It felt a little strange to be working out of Caritas of all places, but a safe spot was a safe spot so she wasn't going to complain.

[OCD is up! Like yesterday, anyone who wants to help with the band-aiding and food-handing-out is welcome. Your regularly scheduled Caritas post will be up in the evening.]

There's plenty of energy bars and cookies left, along with warm pub food. You could probably get something alcoholic on top of the drinks the support crew has, but only if you're planning on sticking around and not going gremlin-fighting while drunk.

Got a minor injury that needs patching up? Morgana or one of our lovely volunteers will be happy to help. There's antibiotic and real bandages alongside the LoofahBill and Hola Gato ones.

If your injuries are more severe but you might need someone else to tell you that, or you know damn well they are but don't want to head for the clinic on your own, wander this way!

[Like yesterday, if you feel like pinging back to anybody who needs an escort, go right ahead. Injured people, this isn't mandatory or anything - you're welcome to go straight to the clinic.]

She's here and poking at the bandages on her arms. Why did cuts insist on starting to itch while they were still covered up?

I have coffee for the first time in a week. Wheee!

"Morgana. What happened."

Please to be ignoring the cuts on Arthur's face or the slight bump of the bandages under his shirt, thank you.

So after getting shot by Elena, he somehow got scolded for not taking care of himself enough. Or something. Who knew those two things could go together? Caritas still reeked foul, but Jacob's stomach was growling and with the excuse that he was checking up on things, he finally did brave the place.

Should Morgana be surprised that he was wearing nothing but a pair of jeans? Probably not. What was new was the faded scar on his right shoulder. It looked like it had been there for years.

"Hey," he said quietly.

"The same thing that happened to you, I imagine," she said calmly, pulling her sleeves down to try to cover the bandages. "I suppose I should be grateful that the bite of these gremlins leaves only a wound, and no insanity."

"Were you out there by yourself?" he said, incredulously. "At least you had the good sense to get back here. The city's-- covered in them."

He hadn't had a lot in the way of sleep.

Morgana glanced over at the greeting, and sighed softly. "Did you lose your shirt, or did you forget to put one on this morning?" she asked. Not that she minded the shirtlessness, of course, but her visual happiness was not the priority here.

It took a moment for Morgana to try to put together the response least likely to make Arthur yell. "No, I was with Jacob Black. We went looking for people who might be trapped, and ended up finding the creatures instead. Have you had anything to eat today?" she asked, turning the conversation back onto him. "You shouldn't go back out there if you're weary."

"No, it's just... pants are already a burden to carry around when I'm morphing," he said, frowning. "You try fitting a whole wardrobe in a rubber band around your leg and still move fast."

See? There was logic to the nudity.

"He just let you run around like that?"

That... might be an answer on the weary score. Not that Arthur'd admit it. "I had one of those... toasted bread things last time I was here," he said, dismissively. "We've got more important matters to deal with."

Jacob would be over by the food. He was starving and tired. The last one couldn't be helped, but he was going to make sure his stomach wasn't growling anymore before he went out again.

"I suppose that would be a bit of a hassle," Morgana said. "Are you all right then? Have you been outside much?" She eyed the mark on his shoulder, feeling like she was seeing it for the first time, but then, she hadn't been staring at him that much recently to have memorized his scars or anything.

"Yes, as a matter of fact he did let me 'run around' with him," she said. "I had my sword, I was perfectly fine." Which was why she had bandages on now, of course.

"You should have something else to eat. There's plenty of food to go around - and plenty of people outside fighting," she added.

"I'm fine," he assured her. "I've been out, those buggers love the dark, they were crawling all over the preserve."

He motioned at her bandages. "What about you? They didn't have to ampute?" he teased.

Paige was once again on hand for insta-transport if anyone needed it.

"Look at you! You are not fine."

Picking a fight was so much easier than dealing with anything in general. Like food, or people trying to keep him indoors.

Paige noticed the bandages on one of her students arms.

"Morgana? Do you need a clinic trip?" she asked.

"And neither are you! They're just scratches, I'll be perfectly well in a matter of days," she said. "You're not the only one allowed to try to protect people. You said it yourself, the creatures are all over the place."

"No, they didn't. Amazingly enough, all I required were a few bandages," she said. And something that made her skin tingle before they put the bandages on, but there was no need to mention that.

"That doesn't mean you should go out and face them!" Arthur snapped back. "I know you've got some kind of death wish," no, that would be you, Arthur, "But this really isn't the time to indulge it. Just make sure you stay put, and I and the rest of the Fandom warriors will take care of it."

Morgana smiled softly and shook her head. "No, I'm quite all right. I received a few cuts from some very agile creatures, but I'm fine now. Have you had any trouble?"

"Not really," Paige said. Her powers came in handy sometimes. "I can teleport though," she explained. "So I figured hanging out here to offer transportation to anyone who might need it was a good idea."
