Tyler seemed cheerful as Fight Club gathered tonight, which might have been enough to make people worry if it hadn't been for the fact he was always happy when they got together after a few weeks off.

"Welcome back," he said. "No snow, no gremlins, just punching. Ghanima, got anything to say before we start picking matches?"

"You remember the rules," she said simply. "You with her. You two, and you with him."

"And him with her, him with her, and her with her," Tyler finished. "Questions? We'll be around."

He stumbled back at that, nearly tripping over his own feet in his effort to compensate. Woah, again.

It bought her just enough time to move to her legs and this was a good workout, even if she'd be sore tomorrow.

She closed the distance quickly, feinted a jab to his shoulder, following it up quickly by another to his side.

This time Jak had at least pulled back his arm enough to work as kind of a shield for his sides. He hadn't been fast enough to respond to her feint, but he caught the second one with said arm. He took the opportunity to jab at her on the opposite side, where his arm had also been taut and ready to defend.

Better. She didn't think he'd fall for the same trick again. She took the hit on her arm and hoping he was distracted enough, tried to hook her leg behind his.

He struggled against it this time, pushing back with his leg in an attempt to fend her off while he drove his elbow forward.

That elbow packed a punch and Beka decided it'd be safest to back off, gain some distance as he was stronger than her.

She circled and aimed a kick at his hip.

Jak grunted at the impact, shifting sideways with it and throwing another, uncoordinated punch at her head. Ow.

Avoiding that punch seemed to be a good idea and Beka ducked once more. She responded instantly, using the opening to hit at his stomach.
