The Boards - Rehearsal - Thursday, 2/2
Geoffrey opened the doors, rather proud of all the work he'd done this week. After all, the place was clean. Entirely clean. Clean and fixed and all right, maybe he had to rehang the curtain, but he figured he might ask one of the kids who could fly or something to do that since he had really terrible luck with ladders usually.

Off Stage
Re: Off Stage
Re: Off Stage
Stranger things have happened.
He took some coffee, though, and nursed it as he flipped through the script. His character was dead in the act being rehearsed this week, which made for a rather easier workload.
Re: Off Stage
It wasn't signed, but it didn't really need to be. Jack would probably recognize the author's handwriting.

Rehearsal - Act 2
Re: Rehearsal - Act 2
"You cloudy princes and heart-sorrowing peers,
That bear this mutual heavy load of moan,
Now cheer each other in each other's love
Though we have spent our harvest of this king,
We are to reap the harvest of his son..."
He underlaid his tone with some irony; there was some disguised threat in this, after all.
Re: Rehearsal - Act 2
Re: Rehearsal - Act 2
"My pretty cousins, you mistake me, ummm, much;
I just, err, do lament the sickness of the king.
As loath to lose him, not your father's death;
It were lost sorrow to wail one that's lost."

Re: Rehearsal - Act 2
"Ay me, I see the downfall of our house!
The tiger now hath seized the gentle hind;
Insulting tyranny begins to jet
Upon the innocent and aweless throne:
Welcome, destruction, death, and massacre!
I see, as in a map, the end of all."

OOC
If Billy Joel hadn't totally written a whole instrumental piece dedicated to the carousel that I used to ride EVERY WEEK... *flails quietly*
