Fight Club, Atlas Gym, Sunday Night

Tyler seemed a little worn-out as the group gathered today. "Welcome to the end of the school year," he said flatly. "Next weekend, finals are done and we're pulling up stakes until things settle in a little for the summer. Let's make our fights today worth it. Deadpool, Anakin -- show the kids how it's done."

Ghanima nodded crisply in agreement before rattling off the other matches quickly and efficiently. "Get to it," she added. "I'm curious to see the results of today's fights."

Leto arrived early to do some warming up. He didn't have that many weeks left, and making the best of the opportunities to get into a fight seemed like a good idea. He smiled when his name was called.

Zack was mostly hanging around the edges, today. Watching the group, getting a feel for being around people after two weeks spent more or less in hiding. He had his sword, of course. And he even managed to prop it against a nearby wall once he was singled out for a match.

He was considering this 'progress.'

Bruce was somewhat off in a corner when he heard his name called. At that point, he immediately started doing some stretching.

Well, it was going to be the first time he fought someone in the club who had a definite size advantage over him. This would be interesting.

Jaina still didn't know how long she was staying, so it was kind of strange to think that all things depending, this might be her last Fight Club. But if it was, at least she'd go out seeing some good matches.

Huh. Last Fight Club. Rose didn't mind not sparring today, and she wasn't really paying attention to the matches either. Right now it was just considering there if there wasn't any more Fight Club, there'd be Sundays totally free. That was a thought.

Interested in seeing how it was all done, Dimitri was lurking off to the side as was his habit, watching and taking in how the fights were to be set up for the day.

If Dimitri seemed more relaxed than usual, it was simply by virtue of it being Sunday and him having spent the morning off-island doing as he pleased with his day off.

Zack was already unfastening his armor as he made his way to the mat, and had tossed it toward the wall where it landed with a bit of a clatter against the Buster Sword.

He was even going to warm up with a few squats while he waited for his partner to join him.

She was probably in for another session of getting her ass kicked, but that failed to damp Kennedy's enthusiasm at all (because she never thought of it that way). The grin on her face was nothing short of completely, totally stoked.
