MCA Lobby, [4/28]

Mina was doing some tidying in the MCA Lobby today. Paperwork was forgotten as she did the spring cleaning.

That was, until she found herself sitting backwards upon an unexpected equine.

"...if you defecate on this carpet before I get you outside, I shall find a glue factory," she threatened."

That was the extent of her surprise. Mild annoyance.

It would seem to be the day for random animals, but at least Mina wouldn't be sitting on this one.

How the wolf got through the door was a rather proud secret that Angua wouldn't share, but she managed it, and now to get to her apartment from here. The whole encounter at the docks had made her later than usual; she'd hoped to get in before anyone was up, but that was the thing with bloody vampires. Up when you don't want them to be.

So Angua was trying to stealth her way as quickly as possible across the lobby, praying to gods or God or whatever that Mina just assumed she was one of the whole pack of dogs living in that apartment above her.

So much for stealth.

Wincing slightly, Angua paused, for a moment, wondering how best to respond to being spotted. She just wanted to get downstairs and curl up in her basket; not too much to ask.

So she was just going to see if she might be able to get there with slower steps. Sort of like how prey might lose track of you if you crouched low enough and went around enough bushes. There was an armchair there, after all.

A stick? Really now. Angua huffed out a breath, considered the terrain and tried to figure out which might be the best bet from here.

Had she only just transformed into a wolf, she would have had the reason to dash on out of here, head to the station, and change back to human and into a spare set of clothes there.

However, she'd been a wolf all night and the coming night was the full moon, so she didn't exactly have that human-like logic.

Which was why she was making a break for the elevator. If Mina had to get off the horse to chase her, maybe, just maybe, she could get there in time.

Considering that Angua easily brought herself up to press her paw onto the right button? Yeah. She kind of did.

Angua waited for the door to open and, once it did, she took a second to bark somewhat victoriously at the vampire before darting into the elevator. And once she was in, she was pawing the close door button so much she could almost break the thing.

Once she was human, she was going to be trying so hard to put together some cocked-up story about her new dog...
