Caritas | Sunday

Graduation was a fun time for everyone with all the guests, cake, and hugging happening around the island.

Well, everyone but Tino. He never seemed to get to leave.

Sad.

But there was a party at Caritas tonight and Clark decided he could go the extra mile to make the lounge look a little festive. Blue and gold paper streamers and balloons awaited any graduates, birthday boys, and friends who might stop in for a drink. Or a balloon animal - if he could figure out how to make something not a snake.

"He did it to himself," Chuck said, wincing slightly at the imagery that brought up. "Don't ask me why he did it, because I don't know."

"Was he drunk?" Sam asked, frowning still. "I don't think he should be drinking. It's not right."

"His whole world is probably gone, Sam," Chuck said. "He's got to deal with it somehow, and I don't think therapy is for him."

Sam sighed. "I don't think alcohol will help. But I suppose it's an understandable place to start." Especially if he'd really been as betrayed as he'd sounded.

"He's been copying me. He told me so," Chuck said, putting his head down a little. He kind of felt terrible about that.

"Do you feel guilty?" Sam asked. He just wasn't used to seeing that kind of expression on Chuck's face. "Don't be. It's not like you told him to do that."

"Yeah, but I knew that he looks up to me and Dean," Chuck said. "Do you want to know where he went when he found out his father abandoned him? Thailand. Does that sound familiar?"

"Very familiar," Sam said, still having not-so-pleasant feelings every time he even heard the word. "But you couldn't have known he'd go there for a bender of his own. I mean, it's Castiel." Maybe Chuck had expected him to turn into someone else, but Sam hadn't.
