Graduation was a fun time for everyone with all the guests, cake, and hugging happening around the island.

Well, everyone but Tino. He never seemed to get to leave.

Sad.

But there was a party at Caritas tonight and Clark decided he could go the extra mile to make the lounge look a little festive. Blue and gold paper streamers and balloons awaited any graduates, birthday boys, and friends who might stop in for a drink. Or a balloon animal - if he could figure out how to make something not a snake.

"You are not leaving the island right away, are you?" Raven asked, hoping she was right. "I have already had to say goodbye to one friend today; I do not wish to do so to another."

"Oh no, I'm sticking around for at least the first half of the summer," Sam said. "I've been here for four years, I need more than just a few days to prepare myself for the idea of leaving. And I don't want to say goodbye to people yet either."

"Good," Raven said, smiling again. "I have never had friends before, and I am saddened that so many will be leaving."

She glanced over to wherever Peter was at the moment. "That must be your Peter, correct?" she said. "I could sense the affection between you before I even stepped into Caritas."

Any sign of sadness Sam might have been feeling at her mention of not having friends before faded when she called him his Peter. He was kind of a possessive dork sometimes.

"Yeah, that's Peter. He came down for graduation," Sam said. "We're...kind of big on the affection, yeah."

"There is so much negative emotion in the world," Raven said, "it is good to focus on the positive, like love and joy. And I feel that in abundance here. It is a good feeling, and I am very glad he could be here to see you graduate."

"So am I. We're going to be living together when I leave, so I guess we'll have a space full of love and affection then too," Sam said. He didn't even mean anything dirty by that either.
