Chuck still wasn't in the best of moods, but he wasn't going to prove any claims to his irresponsibility but not showing up to work. It's not like he wasn't looking forward to hanging out in a place with unlimited alcohol, anyway. And turns out Tino didn't much care if Chuck was talking to himself so long as he was still getting paid. Win-win.
