The Park, early evening
Raven was torn between investigating this "GodCon" and confronting her father, or just hiding in her room and hoping he wouldn't come looking for her there. She didn't want to be a coward, but she didn't want to do anything foolish, either. Now night was beginning to fall, and she was still loathe to be outside alone when it was dark. She had to make a decision soon.
[For, um, me, and then two others, but open park is open. Just poke me if you want to be part of what's going on. :) ]

Of course, it was fairly tempting, but she was pretty sure that a lot of the surrounding buildings wouldn't survive.
So she really wasn't pleased when she cut through the park and came face-to-face with Sebastian Blood. Oh, yeah, she remembered him. From both their first meeting and again from Raven's mind.
"Kiss kiss," she said coldly. Funny how it sounded pretty close to "Go shove a knife up your ass."

She could read the residual psychic scents in the air: Raven had been here, and Kennedy, and Andy. None of them were in evidence anymore, so she could assume he was leaving empty-handed once more. And for the last time.

Second point of order: Consent was everything in Kaeleer.
And third: Nothing made Karla more determined to do something than to be told she couldn't.
"Pretty big words from the newest member of the Brotherhood of the Quill," she said, giving him a smile sweet as oleander honey--and just as poisonous. "When I'm done with you, not only will you be incapable of joining with anyone, you'll also be incapable of remaining neat when you piss."

He did seem to be heading in that direction, though. And Karla was feeling curious enough to follow. "Though if that's your intention, I'm not going to try to stop you."
