Caritas; Thursday Evening

Chuck was so busy with Bass Inc calls today that he had forgotten all about the whole eating thing until he got to Caritas. Tino had made it clear he wasn't going to leave to grab food, so instead Chuck secured himself a jar of cherries from the back. It was a healthy dinner. Sort of.

For some reason Dean always got the feeling his should be doing something on Thursday nights, so he headed down to Caritas again. He eyed Chuck and his jar of cherries. "Dude, there are way too many bad jokes I could make right now."

"Say what you want, these cherries are delicious," Chuck said. "And it was either these or olives. No thank you."

"Don't tell me I have to start bringing food to you like I do Sammy to make sure you're remembering to eat," Dean said, giving him a look he usually reserved for his brother when he was being stupid.

Chuck rolled his eyes. "I'm not seven. I was busy today and it slipped my mind. Until now."

Dean snorted. "Yeah, that's what Sammy always says too. Really, it's a wonder he's got as big as he has, considering."

"Yeah, he's living proof coffee doesn't stunt your growth," Chuck said before eating another cherry. "Or maybe all the salads he eats balances the coffee thing out."

"If that was the case, you'd think rabbits would be six feet tall," Dean pointed out.

"Well, whatever, salads are good for you," he said. "I'd rather have a salad than a cheeseburger any day."

"Bacon double cheeseburger with chili fries and pie for dessert," Dean said. "Now that's a meal to get excited over."

"Sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen."

"I haven't heard you complaining about the state of my body."

Chuck grinned. "Well that's because I haven't found anything to complain about yet."

Dean grinned back. "That's because I'm awesome."

"I wouldn't hang out with you otherwise," Chuck said. "Speaking of people I hang out with, I managed to traumatize Sam pretty bad yesterday, so you might want to go easy on him tomorrow. Or don't. Makes more fun for me."

"Oh?" Dean asked, raising an eyebrow. "What did Sammy freak out about now?"

"Somehow we ended up on the subject of my kinks," he said. "Which, as you know, is not for the faint of heart."

"Which ones?" Dean asked, running through the list of what he knew about Chuck's.

"Nothing even that bad. Just how shame turns me on and how that eventually leads to the people I sleep with, you know, 'putting me in my place' in bed," Chuck said, having no problem admitting that since that's the only place he'd let people boss him around. "Apparently this was scandalous."

"Not sure how that came as a surprise to Sammy," Dean said. "I mean it's been pretty obvious for a while -- what with me going to beat sense into you ending up in sex. But Sammy's pretty vanilla and easily shocked."

"I've noticed," Chuck said. "The sad thing is he said he read about that sort of kink before but thought it was something people made up. I mean, I know I'm not the most likely candidate to be turned on by that sort of thing but to think that nobody liked it is weird."

"I'm so going to make him do some kind of presentation during the kink class" Dean vowed.

"You don't think he'd die of embarrassment first?" Chuck asked.

"Nah. He'll just want to."

Chuck smirked. "I admit, I'm curious to see what he'd come up with."

"Something involving libraries," Dean said. "And phones. And possibly invisibility."

"Sounds about right," Chuck said with a nod. "Though I doubt he'd mention the library since he would hate to admit he defiled the school in such a way."

Dean grinned. "That's okay. I'd be happy to mention it for him."

"Oh that's cruel," Chuck said, laughing.

"Hey, payback's a bitch," Dean said, and the whole lying about important shit to me deserves a little bit of cruelty."

"Never said it wasn't deserved," Chuck said. "It was kind of a huge thing to keep a secret."

"Yeah. And hopefully all this is impressing on him not to pull this crap again."

"I see, it's a two-for-one," Chuck said. "You get to teach him a lesson and have fun embarrassing him at the same time. Genius, really."

Dean smirked. "Like I said, I'm awesome. And speaking of teaching lessons, I was wondering if I can talk you into letting me have tomorrow's class here."

"Sure you can," Chuck said. Yeah, like he'd pass up on having an excuse to drink right after class was over. "Why do you want to have it here anyway?"

"Because I want them to practice how to hook up with someone," Dean said, "and a bar seems like a pretty good location for the exercise."

"Yeah, you don't get a much better location than that," he agreed. "Considering all the shy blushy people you have in the class, it should be interesting to watch."

By interesting he meant hilarious.

"Hopefully, they'll get some confidence out of the whole thing," Dean said.

"I hope so. I'd hate to see people that nervous about sex trying to pick up people," Chuck said. "Humphrey, I know, is capable of not being such a spaz. Older!him is annoying, but I'll admit he has a knack for picking up women."

"Y'know, I was just thinking," Dean said, leaning in closer. "We should totally give them an example of how experts do it."

Chuck took a moment to figure out just what that meant. "Are you suggesting we hit on each other in front of the whole class and Sam?"

"Pretty much, yeah."

"Sure, I'm up for it," he said, grinning. "It's not like they can get better examples than us."
