With the humidity as high as it was today, Shelley was glad for all the awesome cosmetic and hair tips she had picked up from makeup artists and stylists over the years. The right conditioning agent and just enough powder applied in just the right way, assured that her complexion and bouncy hair stayed as perfect as ever.

She had a feeling that today might be a good sales day for booty shorts and swim wear, so she moved a couple of racks closer to the door. Of course, sunglasses would be the perfect add-on sale, so she made sure to pick out a few of the best to model throughout the day. This had nothing to do with a possible hangover. Nothing at all.

Pixie Dust was opened for business!

"Hey, thanks again for letting me bring the class by," John said, finding Shelley and her sunglasses to be kind of, well, hot - even if he did wonder just why she would wear them indoors.

Shelley was happy to discover that the deep voice on the phone matched her mental picture of the man. For the most part. "I thought you would be blond," she stated, peering up over the tops of her sunglasses.

John's hand went self consciously through his hair as his eyes glanced up, like he needed to check. "I sounded like a blond? That's different. Usually I hear I'm taller or less attractive than expected, but I'll take it. Think I should hit up the store for dye?"

"Absolutely not," she said, appalled. "I would never recommend anyone going for a box job unless you've had tons of experience. Like, tons. Those are so easy to mess up!"

"Hey Shelley!" Rose said, paying Shelley's sunglasses no mind. Seriously, the woman cleaned in bunny ears, what was a pair of sunglasses? The perfect hair, however, even had Rose a little jealous. "Got anything good in?"

"We did get these awesome sequined tank tops in sometime last week," Shelley said, pointing towards a rack near the front. "Normally I would steer clear of sequins in this kind of heat, but they're surprisingly breathable and cool. Maybe the shiny factor reflects back the heat?"

For a brief moment, she looked genuinely thoughtful.

"So if it's shiny and black, does that make it halfway absorbing the heat and halfway reflecting it?" she suggested, considering the tops in question. They were totally cute and - totally impractical for anything other than the next few weeks at Fandom.

And, at one point, Ariel took a moment to scribble out on a card and introduce herself to her fellow Pixie Dust employee.

"Hi! I'm here for class, obviously, but I work here on Tuesdays as well! I really like your sunglasses!"

Shelley took the card and read, exclaiming, "Oh my god! This place is open on Tuesdays?" She really did live in her own little world.

It was a little...odd that Shelly didn't seem to realize that, but Ariel got over that moment and bobbed her head in helpful encouragement that yes! Yes it was! And she was the helpful little clerk that was there on said Tuesdays.

Alex already had a decent pair of trunks but he wasn't going to let that stop him from looking around for a new pair. He held up one pair (http://www.speedousa.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4031860&page=2&cp=3124322.3124332.3124361.3136030) and made a face. Fruity, fruity swim trunks.

Those went back on the rack and he kept browsing for a better, manlier pair.

Kitty had a swimsuit already, but that wasn't going to stop her from trying things on.

Because Kitty was thin as a rail and could actually pull off pretty much anything she put on, so bathing suit shopping wasn't the hell it was for a lot of people. Sigh.

Cara stood off to one side by herself. If she appeared somewhat confused by the entire concept of having a set of what appeared to be brightly coloured undergarments purely for the purposes of swimming...well, that was because she was.

Azula already had swim suits and she was initially resistant to the idea until it occurred to her it was Zuko's money she would be spending.

Heeeey, Ariel knew this place! She was already too fond of her sea shells to ever separate with them as beachwear, but she was taking full advantage of being here to try on all sorts of things she usually couldn't but had wanted to because she had to do things like work.

For being a spot where I talk about how much is sucks to be in meetings most of the day and crazy busy and not able to be the awesome with interacting and having fun with the FH. Sad.
