The heat meant the horses (and Firekeeper and Blind Seer, of course) were not interested in staying in the stuffy barn one second longer than strictly necessary. And so, once they'd been properly fed, Firekeeper moved them out into the pasture to take care of the grooming, and then made sure they had plenty of water to drink after indulging in their usual game of chase with Blind Seer.
