Caritas | Wednesday

Hannibal wasn't playing any stupid games tonight. For one, he couldn't think of anything stupid to play and for two, he was actually trying to be productive. His laptop was open on the bar in front of him and he was perusing through various job ads, marking ones to apply for but not going so far as applying.

Some of the jobs looked interesting but were far away and some were boring and kept him close. Hannibal was suffering from a lack of not knowing what the hell he wanted to do with his life. Tino wasn't offering help though Hannibal did think him the perfect candidate for the gravedigger opening.

Tino wasn't amused.

This whole coming to the bar thing on Wednesday was a habit that Angua needed to break.

...next week. This week, she couldn't seem to get the smell of poor unfortunate chickens out of her nose, and was hoping that the smell of rotting zombie flesh would make for a nice pallet cleanser.

The moon hadn't waned nearly enough for that to save Hannibal from a hard glare.

"Actually," she said, "I'm here for the zombies tonight. The bass player's got a nice arse, and I think there might be a chance of it going home with me tonight."

Really, it was hanging there by a thread. One too-up-tempo song, and plop.

"Don't knock it until you try it," said Angua, who might have actually laughed at that if it wasn't the tail end of her time of the month. "I hear the undead can really be something else in bed."

Being undead herself, of course, she was probably biased...

"Hey, some people are into that," said Angua, shrugging.

Sick people, usually. People like her family, but, y'know...

"Are you actually working?" Ino asked, coming in to hop up on a bar stool and then spin around on it (like the totally mature adult that she wasn't) as she grinned impishly at him.
intraspective: (all the colours)

Ino pretended to think about that.

"Minesweeper?"
intraspective: (dorktastic)

"Minesweeper is defective," she agreed. "I always wind up dying horribly on, like, the first click. It's stupid."

A beat.

"Totally for your company," Ino laughed. "And boredom. Bored bored bored."
intraspective: (is this the face of a liar?)

"Just a coke, please?" Ino said, toying with her hair. "I don't really drink that much these days."

Helen was here looking for a drink and to be away from the stupid cabins for a bit. She managed a smile for Hannibal. "Good evening."

She shrugged. "Well enough if I ignore yesterday. And you?"

[ooc: No worries! SP is love!]

Helen shook her head. "No. I made the mistake of talking to Hinata about James."
