Turtle & Canary; Saturday [ 07/31 ].
Shunsui decided he would come in for a little bit today, if only to get the latest additions to the Turtle & Canary staff acclimated to their new home. No, he hadn't hired anyone as of yet; he'd just gone to the pet store and got some....mascots, so to speak.
The turtle he named Turtle, naturally, and the canary, well, for some reason, he decided to call Jane. Jane had herself a nice tall cage dangling from a tall, curved pole behind the counter, and he let Turtle crawl around the counter with Nanao-chan II nearby, and spent a good portion of the day just doting over how quick Turtle was, with all his determination and preserverance and how pretty Jane's songs were and we're they just lovely ♥ and maybe Turtle would like some sake?
The sign, of course, was still in the window, in case anyone more capable of running a register than the new mascots would be should be interested:
