Cally's activit du jour was setting about plans for Nicky's birthday, since she'd now figured out exactly when it was, according to the Earth calendar. She had a little over two weeks. It'd be a small affair, probably not much beyond a few friends.

She wasn't the most social animal, these days. She was still guarding herself after all that had happened. And she didn't want to burden her friends with all that she'd gone through, either. It was rather a sad scenario. She didn't open up because she thought her friends wouldn't truly understand, and her friends didn't understand because she didn't open up.

But she was happy, at least happier than she was on the Galactica. Definitely happier than she was on New Caprica. Life was improving, things were looking up. She'd not even been bitten by a gremlin since coming back. That was definitely a good thing.

So, the landlady/super was behind the lobby counter/desk, in case anyone needed to rent a room or complain or chit-chat!
