Sushi Station; Saturday Evening [ 09/04 ].

Shunsui had figured that the vision of Jane-chan when he stopped by her place to pick her up for dinner would be the most beautiful thing of the evening, but in that he was wrong. It was true, of course, that she was easily an epitome of beauty, but Shunsui had seen many beauties in his long life- (and afterlife-)time.

He had yet to see a Sushi Station. And was wondering why it took him so long to discover such a gem of novelty, the little plates of food going about the conveyor belt like dancing delicacies.

"This," he declared, pulling out a chair with a little bow for Jane-chan, "is fabulous &hearts! What a marvelous idea ♥!"

"It certainly is", said Jane as she sat, always in a good mood of having a cheerful partner in a certainly new place for her, too. And a restaurant was going to win over her cooking every time unless she managed to hire her girls for the catering needs, which would be a dream come true, although unlikely.

"I didn't know we had a sushi station", added as she looked around, marveled at how there could be something of the like in the island, among the rest of...interesting businesses.

It was easy just to nod and smile at Shunsui, but Jane knew better than to let the man do all the talking. "The people...I don't think there will be day when I will be able to see the new people without blinking in surprise." Or the old people coming back, or just the regulars; everyone was confusing and interesting in their own ways.

"Hm, it has been a while since I had sushi. Should we order?"

Drinks please, indeed. Sake perhaps? It seemed the man's default drink after all. "Drinks, of course."

"You think? I guess picking your very own food does have an extra appeal." And it was surely faster than waiting for a waiter to get the other and pass if to the cook, if anything. "Looking for anything in particular?"

Jane laughed as she looked at the conveyor as well. "There is lot to pick from then." She was going to go for the very basic sushi. (http://formosadowntown.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/sushi.19995539_std.jpg) She wanted to see what the expert would pick though.

While it wasn't even pink, Jane didn't care. The fact it wasn't food, but desert, was a little more worrying.

But then again, she had done that a lot of times in the mansion.

"Wouldn't there be other of those for me around?" Boy, that chocolate did look nice.
