After spending a whole day trying to make amends to a bonsai plant for its viscious treatment at the hands of his guest this weekend, Shunsui figured it was time to get back to work.
Unfortunately, that was paper work.
He'd brought the stack that Nanao-chan had left for him to the shop today, and plopped it on the counter and stared at it miserably for a good half an hour. Then he carefully, tentatively slipped off the first sheet and began to read. He could feel his eyes glazing over already with all the inanity of it, but all he had to do was picture Nanao-chan in his head again to get the motivation to lift his pen and take it to all those blank lines and boxes.
You can get through this, he kept telling himself. Get through this, and then you'll have every reason to party life there's no tomorrow. All you have to do is get through this...
