Turtle & Canary; Wednesday [ 10/06 ].
Shunsui had never been particularly good with paper work, so it really shouldn't have surprised anyone that he was still working on Nanao-chan's stack today, just as he was yesterday. However, the fact that he'd actually worked on it was remarkable enough in itself, but he was realizing the benefit of such hard work as he held aloft the last sheet.
"Here it is ♥!" he announced proudly to the turtle and the canary at the counter. "The very last of it ♥! I finish this, and I will have completed the whole stack ♥!"
Shunsui's eyes drifted, though, toward the bottom of Jane's cage. Back to the paper. Back to the cage. So very, very tempting, but then he thought of the look on Nanao-chan's face when he sent it all back to her, completely in tact, perfectly done, and he placed it on the counter, took five minutes, and then placed it on the neat little pile with the rest of them.
Unfotunately, before he could even raise his voice up in a call for celebratory sake, Apu-san must have found a particularly heavy bit of dust on the floor in front of the counter as he swept, because he was suddenly seized with a gigantic sneeze, one that went right into the papers, sending them fluttering all about the area like so many oversized pieces of confetti.
Shunsui could only gawk.
And remind himself that he didn't like killing. Or violence. Or any of that sort of thing, really.
