George so didn't want to be here today. Because -- well. It was work, and she never wanted to be at work. Not that she was ever all that delighted to be anywhere else. Shut up.

I'd say she would welcome the distraction, but it is George.

And George-chan hadn't had a visit from her effervescant and charismatic boss in a while, so Shunsui decided he'd stop in and see how she was getting along.

That, and he wanted to make sure he didn't forget any papers after yesterday's sneeze debacle. They had to be perfect when he sent them back to Nanao-chan.

"Geooorge-chan~ ♥," he announced his entrance. "Is your day lovely and wonderful and fabulous ♥?"

"Um ... sure," George said, hoping the right answer would mean she didn't have to elaborate. "Just like always. How are you?"

"Excellent, of course ♥!" Shunsui smiled a moment before asking the important question, "You didn't happen to see any pieces of paperwork floating around the store, by any chance, did you, George-chan ♥?"

Oh shit.

"... No?" she said. "Was I supposed to be doing paperwork?"

She could ... pretend to do paperwork. When he was around.

"Oh, no, no ♥," Shunsui assured George-chan with a shake of his head, a waving of his hand. "Not at all ♥. I'd only torture Apu-san with something like that ♥. I was just working on some yesterday and I'm afraid a few might have...fluttered away ♥."

"Fluttered?" George asked. "Was it really windy yesterday?"

Or was this more insanity from this weird-assed island? Flying paperwork?

"I think Apu-san had a really bad cold," said Shunsui, frowning slightly.

Seriously, it had been an epic sneeze.

"Oh, that's gross," George said, making the sort of face she usually only managed in Farnsworth's classes. "I don't think you'd want them back, like that."

Covered in snot?

"Not that bad ♥," Shunsui said, unable to help chuckling. "And I'm afraid I must have them back, George-chan ♥. It's not my paperwork to keep ♥."

"Whose is it?" George asked. "Can't they get new copies mailed out from wherever?"

Because ew.

But there was no snot!

"...but then I'd have to fill it out all over again..." Shunsui said, in a tone that said that, even if there was snot, he was still sending them, oh yes.

"Oh, I -- didn't realize what kind of forms they were," she said. "Good luck finding them?"

Because she wasn't looking. Snot or no snot.

Shunsui bowed his head slightly. "Thank you ♥. I may actually have them all, but, if you do spot something that looks very official and boring and utterly pointless....you know where to find me ♥."

"Absolutely," George agreed.

So long as they weren't covered in snot. Because anything she saw that was, she wasn't touching. No offense, Shunsui.

None taken.

Although she could always make Apu-san do it.

Still, Shunsui nodded. "Much appreciated, George-chan ♥," he said, tilting his hand, and then pointing to Bob-chan. "I'll be checking behind the SquishyBot ♥."

Seriously, I will manage to get an Apu icon one of these days. And it will go here. For those of you modding Apu.
