Zatanna was still a girl.

She was pretty glad about this.

However, the fact that quite a lot of the students -and teachers, oh my gosh- were not on their right gender was rather...worrying. It was also incredibly hilarious, but she had decided not to say a thing, considering that the way Fandom handled karma might make her end up as a boy, or even worst, some sort of small, fluffy animal. And nobody wanted to see a psychotic white bunny.

That left her with opening the store and hoping to be able of telling just who was who if she ended up attending someone. And not to laugh, sure.

She won't laugh if you are suddenly a pretty girl, or a cute boy. Really.

Shunsui was still a woman, and he was fine with that. He was pretty sure Apu-san would be, as well, but was wasn't sure if any of his lovely employees would be stricken with swap in the other direction.

So he, still with hat and haori and curly hair but in a distinctly more feminine skin, was incredibly relieved to see Zatanna-chan in her usual state. It was one thing to turn a man into a beautiful woman, but to take a pretty girl and turn her into a man just seemed a crime.

"Ah, Zatanna-chan ♥, no awkward mishaps for you this weekend, I see ♥."

If it had been anyone else with such distinctive speech, Zatanna might have been thrown aback for a moment. Well, she actually blinked hard a couple of times, but shortly after was giving her boss a small smile,man or not. "Apparently", said as she tilted her head. "But you seem to be taking it very well...?" She let it end as an open question, as she didn't know just how well could Shunsui play pretend.

Shunsui gave a pleased smile, tipping his hat. "Far be it from me to regret being able to contribute to the beauty of the world ♥," he said, then gave a lighter-than-usual chuckle. "I do not think Apu-chan was nearly as pleased, though I'm quite grateful for his contribution as well ♥."

That got a chuckle from Zatanna. "And you contribute well, I must say!" What? He looked pretty as a woman, there was no negating that fact. "She should be happier of having such looks", added with another small chuckle. Truth to be told, the girl hadn't tried to bother Apu much; she wasn't the boss of him -or her-.

"When do you think it will be over?"

Shunsui couldn't help preening a little at the compliment, pulling himself up regally before dipping his head in a bow of acknowledgment. "It's quite true ♥," he agreed. "I can take no fault in how it's turned out ♥. I've no idea when it will pass, but I hope it last a little longer ♥. There's a benefit to being the fairer sex, and I've found I can still hold my liquor just as well, too ♥."

Zatanna knew she wasn't going to get a reaction like these out of anyone else. Unless they were drunk, maybe. It was refreshing to see someone still in the mood to toy with weirdness, though. Almost made her want to have changed-- but never that much to actually wish for it.

"So it's a win-win situation for you. Although I don't know how well your flirt could stand in a situation like this, Shunsui-sensei." Was that a little teasing tone she was speaking with?

And that little teasing tone was exactly why Shunsui hired you, Zatanna-chan. You think he did it just for your good looks?

Okay, so maybe he did hire her on her good looks, but things like that tone and calling him sensei certainly validated the choice as a good one.

"I don't imagine it could suffer any ♥," said Shunsui. "Especially not if beautiful woman are as attracted to beauty as much as I am ♥."
