Arms Hotel Lobby, Thursday [11/11]

Ellie was kind of grumpy today. Possibly because she was witness to Gunther's flirtation with one of the maids. She had not been warned about this.

"There are so many rooms here," she said, wrinkling her nose. "Please go get one."

The fact that they seemed to listen to her was really disturbing. Eh, at least now she could get back to the smutty Rumor Gal fanfiction she had been reading.

Hoshi was having the strangest feeling of déjà vu, walking into the hotel on a Thursday. Her portal was supposed to take her to San Francisco, but she found herself at arriving at the causeway instead of Fisherman's Wharf. After calling Portalocity to complain that they screwed up, she gathered up her stuff and headed to the hotel to get a room for the night.

She was happy to see who was working. "Ellie! Thank goodness there's a familiar face," she said.

"Hoshi! Hi!" Ellie greeted, giving her friend a warm smile. "What bring you back to this lovely little island?"

There was sarcasm in her tone when she said those last words. She wasn't very happy with the island this week.

"Portalocity screw-up. I'm supposed to be at a meeting in California but they can't get me there today," said Hoshi. "I'm going to need a room for the night."

"People are acting all...hormonal again. The island thinks it's funny," Ellie shrugged. "I need brain bleach now after what I witnessed."

"Let me guess. It was Gunther?" asked Hoshi, frowning slightly. "I suppose I'll be immune, since I haven't been able to get in touch with Hurley."

No, Hoshi was not going to be immune, not by a long shot.
