Fast Eddie's- Thursday night

The way Jaina figured, she was going to be annoying herself either way: she could stay in and try to repress the hell out of yesterday, which was way too hard to do for her liking, or she could go out and be jittery and chance running into actual people. She chose the option that meant she could work on focusing on anything that wasn't oversharing or sex, which meant she went to try pool. She still wasn't the best, so it took concentration and the ability to not scratch the table every five seconds because you were jumpy and distracted.

She'd gotten about halfway through the balls on the table, slipping the cue stick through her fingers to send the ball shooting down the table into the hole... and then she realized what she was doing and wondered if anyone would look at her funny if she just went somewhere to bang her head against the wall.

"Hey, you don't suck as much as before." She had just entered to see the balls being kicked into the holes and the familiar figure...aiming.

"Once wasn't enough, I guess?" It was an honest answer, really.

"But hey, go on and finish this round by yourself. I don't mind to watch for a little while." At all..

Jaina shrugged, already going to get the balls to rack them up again. "Why watch when you can join in?"

"What, some people like to watch. I'm flexible like that." She was already picking a stick though.

"I'd think it gets boring without something to do," Jaina said, racking the balls and then hanging said rack. "But I'm more of an action person."

"Hey, I did say I was going to let you finish, not that you could start all by yourself again. There is so much fun without another player." Faith stood facing the triangle, white ball in hand, and placed it in the center of the little area thingy. Knowing how to play and knowing the names? So not the same thing.

"Since you were having fun already, I'll go first." And hopefully something would go in.

Well damn, focusing was hard at the moment. And the white ball had ended up in a weird spot, so Faith just hit it and rolled her eyes when nothing else went in. "Your turn~"

"Looks like I got my wish," Jaina said lightly, eying for a good shot before leaning over the table to shoot one of the balls toward a hole, only to have it bounce off to hit a different one in. "I believe this means we're tied."
