Firekeeper was aware of the unusual (or... not that unusual, but certainly more frequent than usual) occurances around the island this week. It was hard not to, with that scent in the air.

But being aware of it and being affected by it were two different things entirely, which is why Firekeeper and Blind Seer both were glad when Sunday rolled around, and they could spend the day with the horses, who were far more sensible than humans when it came to things like this.
