MONDAY Evening, Across Fandom-Town
As people fell asleep randomly and others huddled together for safety, something new appeared in the streets of Fandom. Tiny, floating crystal spheres bobbed along in the night, following the air currents and the will of he who made them. At a casual glance, they looked almost like soap bubbles, easily capable of fitting in the palm of the hand. But for their small size, they held an enormous amount of magic. They were the supports and buttresses for the illusion that now held the dreamers deep in sleep. For all that the spheres were beautiful, showing ever-moving images of masked dancers, delicious foods, and the familiar faces of the students and townsfolk of Fandom, anyone who drew near enough to see those images would be assaulted by the odor of rotten peaches and a feeling of cold malevolence. Lovely things, but dangerous. As long as they still floated, whole and unbroken, through the night air, the dreamers would remain forever trapped.
The crystals weren't the only things out in the night. Throughout the day, the buildings on the island had been twisting and turning, transformed by his will. Random walls sprang up and landmarks shifted, being absorbed into the Labyrinth itself. With the expansion of the Labyrinth, goblins of all stripes prowled the streets. There was no one else to be snatched away, but that didn't mean they couldn't have fun with the folks that were left!
[Open for anyone who did not eat the peaches! Feel free to mod your own goblins or ask for an NPC, though please remember as per this post, Ludo and Sir Didymus are non-moddable. OCD UP!]

Around Fandom
Around Fandom: The Park
The moment the sun went down, Makita, her hammer, and her sickle were out stalking the wilds of the Park. Some sparkly-fairies were going down.

The old man just jingled his coin box at Makita.

She fully expected a lecture from her father later.

probably blowing up planets or somethingand it was just Leia and the darkness and surely no one else!Really. No one out here but us chickens!
...Ignore that stealthy sound off to your left, Leia. It's just more...chickens. Yes. Doing innocent and chickeny...things.
Re: Around Fandom - the Park
Diplomacy first, then shooting.
Re: Around Fandom - the Park
"Nope, everyone I know is exactly where they're supposed to be," giggled another.
There was the sound of padding footsteps and rustling leaves as a few more shadows darted behind and around Leia, hiding just out of sight.
"Maybe we should go out!" the first voice said from an entirely different location.
"Or maybe she should come in," chimed a third voice.

That's right, Leia. You've been rejected by a goblin. Err, chicken. Whatever. Either way---harsh.
"We have the ones we want."

Looking for answers most likely, even if she wasn't quite sure of what the questions were.
Although she did have one possible question. What were those spheres she kept getting glimpses of and why were they making her skin crawl.
Re: Around Fandom - the Beach
Re: Around Fandom - the Beach
"Who's there?"
Re: Around Fandom - the Beach
"Nobody," called out one voice. "It's just the wind."
Silence, again, except for rustling. And another goblin picking that moment to add, "I don't hear any wind."
Re: Around Fandom - the Beach
"And now there's thunder."
Re: Around Fandom - the Beach
As one, the others screamed and hit the sand, covering their heads with their hands.
"Throw some rocks!" one hissed.
"I don't see any!" said another.

The crystal bubble floating past like some kind of children's plaything just added insult to injury. He reached into the Force to shoo it away telekinectically...and it didn't budge.
"Great," he grumbled, hauling himself to his feet and going over to get a closer look. Inside he saw Karla and Ender laughing and dancing together and he frowned, tapping gently on the bubble. It felt like crystal, and the people inside it ignored him completely.
He blinked, and the scene shifted--still Ender, but now smiling (when had Ender gotten so smiley?) and dancing with a blond boy Ben could only vaguely place.
Unconsciously, his grip on the bubble tightened. He'd been worried and Ender was...wherever this was...dancing and SMILING? And he didn't even call? Fine. Whatever. Ben wasn't sure why he was this upset about it anyway: the shifting scene to Karla flirting with someone who looked a bit like Raven didn't faze him nearly as much.
The bubble flickered back to Ender and Ben didn't even look twice, just tossed the bubble as hard as he could at the ground, where it shattered.
A tiny smile flickered over Ben's face, despite the horrible stench of peaches he was now enveloped in. That had felt...right somehow.
