Yes, there was a Disney movie playing at the theater today. Which made it the best time for a vampire and a ranger to attempt a date. Oh yeah, that was a recipe for a good time.

Just as long as any of the ~~NPC~~ ushers didn't try to take away the thermos of coffee a certain someone had brought along. Soda was in no way a suitable replacement. Nor was popcorn. Because that ended up getting stuck in fangs and no one wanted to deal with that.

Maladicta gave the sign a wary look before turning toward the doors. "That is a truly unfortunate name."

"How so?" Faramir asked, sounding distracted as he retrieved the tickets from his pocket. He had been there earlier to find out exactly how going to the theatre worked.

It resulted in two tickets and a bored looking girl telling him that he was supposed to go inside, find a seat and watch... At least it had sounded simple enough. "I think this is yours, it does not seem to matter which you take," he said as he held the second ticket out to her.

"It makes it sound as though there will be wolves in it," Maladicta replied, taking the ticket to give it a look before pocketing it. "Angry ones."

You know, rather than the princess on the poster.

"Maybe it's about werewolves."

"And you would rather not see a story about werewolves?" Faramir guessed as he moved to hold open the door for her. "If it is not to our liking, we can always leave... If that is allowed."

"No, that might make it more interesting." She would be disappointed, sadly. Giving him and the door a look, she stepped through into the darkened theater.

"I was under the impression that you did not like them much," Faramir commented. As he let the door fall shut behind him, the corridor became even darker but the small lights to the side at least provided ample light so he would not walk into anything. Perhaps this was part of the theatre experience.

"No more or less than most creatures." Except demons now. Oh, wacky phone day. She offered him an arm in case it was too dark for him. Maybe.

It was not as he obviously saw the offered arm, his fingers curling around her elbow. Not that it was needed for much longer as the corridor proved to be rather short.

"One of the pictures they had out had a lot of fur on it, perhaps you will have your werewolves then," he said.

"Have you seen a moving picture before?" she asked, looking around for a seat.

"A movie?" he asked, following her gaze. There were too many free seats and he decided it should be best to let her pick where to sit. "Yes, I have seen one in class before and little bits on television. I know that you have seen plenty with Alexander."

Holding on to her arm was proving a little strange and he let go, only to slip his hand in hers instead. Not that he knew how she would respond, but she had told him to relax.

He got an amused little smirk at that, but no reaction otherwise. "Well then. I believe this will be interesting," she replied, pulling him toward the back.

"Interesting it would be either way," he remarked with a grin as he let her pull him along. It made noise every time he lifted his feet as if his shoes were attempting to stick to the floor.

"I do not think they clean here often."

"It's better than some taverns," she whispered back.

"Less drunkards?" he teased, squeezing her hand.

Maladicta snorted at that. "More like same amount of laziness in the employees."

"I never had much to complain of there," he smirked. "Perhaps you were not drinking with the right people?"

"I drank with my unit." So clearly, she drank with the best.

He brushed his thumb across the back of her hand in apology. "Then you could not have been in finer company," he agreed in a whisper. "Where should we sit?"

Ah, someone else with the correct mindset. It was nice to see.

Maladicta nodded toward the seats ahead, drawing his hand forward so he could go first. "Did you drink with your men as well?"

"Yes," he said as he let go of her hand and proceeded down the row. "After the first campaign, Boromir took me with him to drink with his men. It seems the custom is true for all soldiers, even the rangers."

He came to a stop and turned to see if he had gone far enough. "Though in Ithilien there are no taverns. Most times, we simply share a wine skin around the campfire."

"Ozzer owned a tavern before she joined up," Maladicta replied with a toothy grin. "It's her brother's technically, I suppose. It was an abomination unto Nuggan for a woman to own a business. I hadn't been, but she was very particular about what was quality. I'll have to take you there some time."

"If you would find my company ample, then I would love to," he teased, returning the grin. He took a seat before he finally asked. "Who or what is Nuggan?"

"The god of the country." A beat. "The dead one," she added before taking a seat.

"Ah," he nodded, still uncertain as to how that could work but he supposed his world was as strange to her as hers was to him. "Perhaps if you went to visit Ozzer's tavern, you could ask others of your unit to join you?"

"Tonker and Lofty, I dare say are long gone." And hopefully happy far from Borogravia.

"Shufti lives with Ozzer at the tavern. Her child must be almost a year old by now," she said a bit wistfully. "And Wazzer is probably still communicating with her Duchess."

Faramir shifted towards her in his seat, ducking his head to meet her eyes. "Do you wish to meet them again? Those that can?"
