Caritas [Tuesday evening]
It was cold out, which pleased Robin as a Canadian, of course. But more importantly, it meant that she could leave the apartment wearing a coat, and Benton didn't have to see what she was wearing under it, and thus stop her.
Look, she really liked her little bustier-cardigan thingie, and it sucked how he (and everyone else) tried to talk her out of wearing it! So tonight, Robin was happily bradgian'd out behind the bar, despite the fact that Tino was actively cringing at her.

Re: The Bar
He smiled at Robin, not a predatory smile but a pleasant one.
He gestured with the hook at a bottle of rum behind the bar. "Glass of that, I think," he said. "I'm assuming the modern world frowns upon terms such as wench now, am I right?"

"Ah, yes, that hits the spot," he said. "And you're quite right, quite right. Teaching the students of the school the fine art of being a pirate. Perhaps a little antiquated in this world, but the principles beneath it all can suit a person to their dying day, if I do say so myself."

Re: The Bar
Look, the Lost Boys used phrases like 'Bangarang'.
"I'll take that as a good thing. And yes, so far the class all seems quite eager. We'll see how they take a real session of knot-tying adventure this Friday."

Re: The Bar
Especially given Hook's planned activity. Muhuahahaha.
"Is your husband a man of the sea? Or perhaps a land explorer... scout, maybe?"
Re: The Bar
She really, really didn't want to stare at the hook, or anything, but it was getting kind of hard not to. "I bet you can do all kinds of interesting looped knots, though, clumsy or not," she said, deciding it was better to just acknowledge the elephant in the room.
Re: The Bar
"Ah, yes," he said, not taking any offense. "My hand was cut off by the best swordsman that ever terrorized the skies of Neverland, and promptly was devoured by a hungry crocodile. So it came to pass that Captain James Hook embraced the pirate cliche, though one could say that my name was just a prophecy awaiting to be fulfilled. It's polished steel, if you must know. Hardly a point to making it out of anything precious, as they dull so easily."
