When Jaina came in to work today, she found Tino sitting in the back room, drinking straight from one of the bottles he'd taken from behind the bar. "That kinda day?" she guessed.

He just glared, so Jaina went back to the bar, figuring it'd be a more fun work shift if she just left him there.

Jaina shrugged as she started pouring the first shot. "Working, teaching, planning trips home, and the rare hangover. So, about normal." She slid over the shot and asked, "How about you?"

Faith caught the drink, and held it contemplatively as she listened. "Working, in a fashion. Trying not to get too rusty, convincing myself I cant each a class." And there went the shot. "Wondering why the hell I like this place so much. So, about normal." She was also waiting for Giles to tell him where and when to kill more vampires -or rouge Slayers-, but those things weren't Fandom material. Well, in a way.

"It has come to the point when 'back home' is kind of hating me and...those like me." Faith wasn't big on being a team player, specially when it looked like she was on the losing team.

Automatically, Jaina poured her another shot, asking, "Those like you?"

"Slayers", came the quiet answer as she toyed with the shot for a moment. "Vampire Slayers, although we often go and slay whatever else bumps on the night." And withou further addo, in went the shot. "It's been crazy back there. Fandom's safer, huh." It hadn't stopped her from being reckless before, though.

"It really does have to be kind of messed up back home if Fandom's safer than there," Jaina said, thinking about this. "And when it comes to in the night, I'd say you're in a pretty good place, though our bumps tend to be pretty tame."

"Believe me when I say, if it weren't true I would find it funny." But she didn't, and it wasn't.

Faith rubbed her face, not quite facepalming. "Teenagers on the roofs, wearing flashy, colorful clothes. I'll take a vampire nest anytime before that."

"Teenagers on the roofs here, or there?" she asked. "I've missed them if it was here, hard as that sounds..."

"Here and there, but Fandom's have a terrible sense of fashion." The Slayers back home could at least dress properly. "You lucky girl, I can't unsee that guy."

"Obviously I need to go outdoors more," Jaina said, shaking her head. "I'm sorry I'm about to ask you to relive the trauma, but what'd the guy look like?" Call her curious.

"Then I obviously need to take you out somewhere." She smirked as she spoke, but otherwise sounded pretty serious.

"And he was a little green, yellow and red mess." Faitj made a face. "Small, dark haired, well trained. Pretty normal looking if you ignored the costume. Which of course, you couldn't."
