When Jaina came in to work today, she found Tino sitting in the back room, drinking straight from one of the bottles he'd taken from behind the bar. "That kinda day?" she guessed.

He just glared, so Jaina went back to the bar, figuring it'd be a more fun work shift if she just left him there.

"No, but in a bar, people usually can't tell the difference between intelligence and drunkeness."

"The sober ones can," she said helpfully. "They can really tell."

"They shouldn't be sober if they're in a bar. It defeats the purpose," Lucas pointed out.

"I'm sober and I'm in a bar," she said. She was usually sober when she was in the bar, actually. y

"Yeah, but you work here, so you don't count," Lucas said.

"What if I've drank behind the bar?" Which she had.

"Are you drunk now?" Lucas asked.

"Not even a little," she said. And after the rainbow shots, it might be years till she was again. Worst hangover ever.

"Yeah, then you don't count," Lucas said.

"Do I count on the weeks I drink?" How many times had that been, anyway?

"That depends. Are you a fun drunk?" Lucas asked.

"I have been told something like that." But it was Monday, so... "I'm fuzzy on the details."

"I'll believe it when I see it, Miss 'Don't Jump People On Your Skateboard,'" Lucas said.
