Caritas- Saturday
When Jaina came in to work today, she found Tino sitting in the back room, drinking straight from one of the bottles he'd taken from behind the bar. "That kinda day?" she guessed.
He just glared, so Jaina went back to the bar, figuring it'd be a more fun work shift if she just left him there.

Re: Lounge
"Good alcohol, then?" he asked, smiling lazily at her since he had no idea how close to dying he'd been. Oh well. "Is there enough bad things to blame me for yet?"
Re: Lounge
"I'd share, but it seems I left my drink at the bar," Caroline lamented the loss. "Woe for lost drinks."
Re: Lounge
"And the bar is crowded with older people," he agreed, actually reaching up to slide a finger down her cheek since it seemed to be all right to do so. "You can keep drinking mine though, out of the bottle or off of me."
Re: Lounge
"You know, I might have a better idea. You take a drink." And she would just swing her legs across his lap.
Maybe this was a happy middle between normal and vampire while she was feeling good and loose.
Re: Lounge
"All right," he answered after a moment spent just enjoying the sight and feel of her legs on across his lap. He reached for the bottle and took a drink as requested.
Re: Lounge
With luck he was a normal boy and wouldn't try to pull away when she slid her hand around to the back of his neck.
Re: Lounge
She'd definitely taste the alcohol on his lips just like he tasted it on hers. It felt amazingly good to be close to someone again and if he was eager with their kiss, well, he thought it was deserved and warranted.
Re: Lounge
Well, at least in her opinion.
But if her lips were a little clumsy Caroline blamed too much drink. And that pesky focus on breathing she had to maintain.
Re: Lounge
This felt really, really good which meant Bod didn't want to stop, bar or not. The elderly people at the bar could keep their eyes to themselves or something.
Re: Lounge
She thought it was nice being so close to someone, even just for a few minutes...and in a dirty, public bar filled with old people.
Okay, that killed things a little for Caroline and she pulled back slightly. "Wanna help me make my roommate insane?"
Re: Lounge
"Yes," he answered, nodding. "Yes, I would love to contribute to the insanity of your roommate. It's something I feel quite strongly about tonight."
Re: Lounge
"Oh wow, the first step's kind of a big one there," she shared, her hands seeking his for support. "I'm good, just in need of a nice man to walk me home. And help me get rid of the curly-haired loser who claims to live in my room."
Re: Lounge
"I've got you," he murmured, making sure he had her even if he felt a little foggy about things too. "And I'll hold your hand while I walk you home and I'll make sure there aren't any losers in your room. The common room has couches he can stay on. I know how to make sure a door doesn't open."
That was a handy talent he'd learned back home. The ghosts were all kinds of skilled.
