Luke's Diner, January 18 (Tuesday)
Today was typically Sookie's day, but in between the blizzard and Sookie leaving her a message about not making it in today, Lacey took it up on herself to make sure the diner was at least open for anyone who might be stuck out in the cold. So it was simple fare on the specials board today: lots of hot soups, stew of both the meat and veggie varieties, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. Just the sort of stuff that'd warm you right up, and didn't require any special market runs.
Look, Lacey was from snowier parts of Canada, but she wasn't that foolish that she'd go blundering out into this weather more often than absolutely necessary.
[OOC: Sookie's absence modded with permission, and mod your service today, please! This is mostly up for the benefit of Shunsui's class. ;)]

In recent memory at least.
But he made his way through everything for this damned class. And cocoa. Mostly the cocoa to be honest.

"Oh god, that smells good," he said with a conviction that only starved teenage werewolves could muster.

"You want a seat with a snow view?"
Because there many other views on offer right now.

When he wasn't getting dropped in any snow or buried in the sand. Thanks, Rosalind.

"You never know," he teased. "So do you know what you're going to do in college?"

"I might see about getting an apprenticeship at a garage. So what world were you thinking of overtaking? Any I know?"

She tried not to sigh. Really. But it just sort of happened, anyway.

He had taken two sips of it so far. He was savoring it.

Yes, he was recruiting for the causeless cause.

Gods, this was stupid. No one throwing scones or anything. Maybe she could get Ralph to get to that...
