Valentine's Day Dance | Town Hall | Friday Evening [8pm on]

Valentine’s dances were traditionally non-traditional on Fandom and this one was no exception—if, perhaps, rather more romantic than some years had been.

Across the ceiling and thick enough to hide the ceiling itself, streamers had been draped in dark blue to represent the night sky, and from that hung lanterns. They were rather large for ‘stars’ but the room was big enough to allow for that. Flowers everywhere—but not the traditional roses, rather there were water lilies adorning each table in elegant dishes that were filled with just enough water to allow the lilies to float. Bamboo and acacia were set by the walls, giving the illusion of being out in the open, and hibiscus and jasmine scented the air.

A fountain was running, letting the sound of water flow as an undercurrent to the decorations, and the heat was turned up. It wasn’t quite the same as a real tropical paradise, but the Student Council had tried.

"Like folding my laundry," he said, able to hold in the laugh there. He moved closer to Luke easily though. "I think that'd be enjoyable to watch while you're only wearing a tie."

"I'm not folding your laundry. I don't even fold my own laundry," he said, smiling. "Though, yes, I would look good doing that naked."

"You could make me a sandwich," he said, still joking even as he reached up to try and kiss the underside of Luke's chin. "Peanut butter and jelly?"

"You'd actually eat something I made?" Luke asked. "That's living pretty dangerously."

"You think you could mess up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?" Percy wondered. "That's pretty special right there."

"You'd be surprised," Luke said with a shrug. "I probably would refuse to make you peanut butter and jelly anyway. I try to avoid peanut butter whenever possible."

"Tuna fish?" Percy tried, eyes wide. "And don't even get on the 'but tuna's from the sea' because I still like it and that stuff in the cans is barely actual tuna."

"I like how you had that reply ready," Luke said, laughing a little. "Sounds like you have a guilty conscience."

"Bite me," he said and took his own advice by standing on his tiptoes to bite Luke's chin. "Jerk."

Luke smiled and leaned down to give Percy a light kiss, kind of loving the affection he had been receiving. "Watch who you're calling jerk. You're the one who wanted me to make you a sandwich, brat."

"You said no," Percy mumbled against his lips, shaking his head. "I think I've earned the brattiness now. I was denied a sandwich and for that, I'm heartbroken."

"What?" Luke asked, pretending to look hurt. "But I had planned on fucking you senseless later."

"Yeah, I guess you're out of luck there, my friend," he said and patted Luke's shoulder. "Gonna be on your own now."

"What are you gonna do tonight then?" Luke asked. "Make time with your hand and then fall asleep?"

"That doesn't sound like such a bad night, does it?" No, he had no plans to do that. None at all.

"Well, no." It's what he tended to do a lot. "But I'm much better than that. And, let's face it, you're just gonna be thinking about me when you jerk off anyway."

"You're full of yourself." He wasn't wrong though. "So, I'll think about you while I'm doing that. No big deal. Not the first time."

"Do you do that a lot?" Luke asked. This probably wasn't the best subject matter to get into considering they were very much in public but Luke didn't really care. They had done worse in public.

"There's no incentive for me to tell you, though," Percy pointed out with a matching shrug.

"What kind of incentive could you possibly want?" Luke asked. "We've already established I'm not getting in your pants tonight, so that's out, and I'm not making you a sandwich. What else do you want?"
