Helen was working out all of her - whatever - by mucking out the stables in a way they'd never been mucked out before. If they hadn't been dirt, the floors would have been practically clean enough to eat off of.

"Velociraptors. Extinct dinosaurs. In the Doctor's class." She sighed. "I just needed to work off some energy."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "Would I have time to go home and shower and change first?"

She raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "Are you offering to help me bathe? I wouldn't object, but it seems unlikely that we'd then get as far as a date."

"Me?" he asked, drawing back slightly, bringing a hand theatrically to his chest. "I was offering my services as a stablehand." No, really.

She looked around the really remarkably clean stable and raised a eyebrow. "I think you're several hours too late."

This was a floor he'd eat off of. "I believe so. Even the Prince's stables are rarely this clean."

"They're a passable lot. Picked more for their skills with horses than looks. You'd be more apt to find the handsome lads in the Palace Guard." Well, it was true.
