The Beach; Saturday Afternoon [ 03/12 ].

It might have been a little chillier than some would like for a performance on the beach, but there was some sunshine, and Ariel was determined to have it here by the ocean since it fit so well with the theme. She'd oh-so-handwavily put up some posters around town and slipped a little card about the Glee Club's show under all the doors at the dorms and the apartment buildings and the hotel, so that everyone would know about it and hopefully, people could find the time to take a break and enjoy a little performance.

She got to the beach plenty early, though, to set up the performance area and put up some chairs for the guests and even put up some tiki torches and a table for snacks. It was probably a good thing she didn't have any visitors this weekend; it gave her the chance to focus a lot on getting things ready for the hula!

[[ OCD is coming up! Everyone's invited to see the Glee Club perform! Yay! ]]

Scuttle wouldn't lie; it was getting a little tiring, flying around the island with a bowl full of water clutched in his talons. It didn't help that, on occasional, a reluctant whine of a complain would come from Flounder inside, about all the water splashing out.

"Don't worry, kid!" Scuttle assured him. "How hard could it be to spot her from he--Mermaid ahoy! Off he port bow!"

A little scream ensued below him as he let go of the bowl with one talon to point, but he quickly regained his grip and started circling down to the beach where he'd finally spotted the red hair he was looking for. And this time, it wasn't just a patch of something else red.

"Ariel!" Flounder, though feeling incredibly worried about losing all the water in the fishbowl that Scuttle was carrying him in, was too excited to see his best friend to not call out and wave a fin in greeting, hoping she'd notice them.

Because it was hard to notice a dive-bombing seagull holding a fishbowl.

Robin showed up early as well to help out wherever he could. He loved parents weekend. Not only did he get to spend time with his uncle, but this year he got to see friends he hadn't seen in a very long time.

Sure bouncy was one of his default states, but he was extra bouncy now.

Of course, Alexander would show up a little early to help set things up. Not only did it give him a reason to avoid his mother for a little bit longer, but it was just a nice thing to do, especially since he knew he was good at menial tasks and hard work.

With his brother off speaking with the instructors, Blackagar was both relieved and mildly concerned to be here and not supervising.

He hadn't received a gift with his exposure to the mists so he couldn't do too much damage, right? ...right?

Blackagar was just going to frown at the drums until they gave him an answer, thanks.

A talking frog, a seven foot canary, and a blue furry monster arrived, very excited to see Robin and his friends perform.

Rosella had no idea her brother was actually in Glee Club, because her brother had never told her he in Glee Club. And for very good reason. Still, when she saw the flyers for the performance, and the little card under her hotel room door, she decided she wanted to check it out, anyway. She loved the arts...arts that weren't boring, anyway, and this one looked like a lot of fun.

She had no idea the fun she was going to have with this.

"Oh, there you are!" Exasperated, Valanice found her daughter there with the set-up on the beach; thankfully, there had been a clue of the performance advertisement left behind in the hotel room. "I thought I'd lost you again. You simply must stop all this running about, Rosella!"

Well, Alexander would be singing in public. What sort of friend wouldn't go to smirk at him the whole time?

Under an umbrella, of course.

Robin was perched on a tall stool so he could actually be visible to the audience when he sang.

There was no way, barring a gremlin bite, that Anakin would be hula-ing. So he stood a bit away from the club because unlike certain advisers on television, he didn't need to make Glee Club about him.

"Everyone look at meeeee! I'm the teacher adviser!" Deadpool said, doing the hula up front and center. "Look at meeeee! I'm Schuester!"

This, Quinn could do do. She beamed at the audience as she danced. She got to perform and there was no family stress: It was a pretty good day.

There was much enthusiastic cheering from the Muppets. There seemed to be something missing from it though. Maybe it was the lack of penguins bouncing up into the air.

After having seen not only his mother and sister in the audience, but also Maladicta, Alexander was definitely going to attempt to sneak away from the area and hope he wasn't noticed. Slink off to the mixer where he knew his relatives would be and pretend he'd been there the whole time waiting for them and he had no idea what they were talking about, yes....

Just escape without notice. Easy as pie...

"Where are you going?" Maladicta needed to learn that lurking in the shadows didn't endear one to their friends.

But couldn't help it. Vampire thing!

Quinn took a drink and waited around a bit to see if anyone would want to talk with her. She was still riding a performance high.

"Oh hello there!" Grover called. "You are a wonderful dancer!"
