Luke's Diner, March 21 (Monday)
Hank Yarbo had decided to start a blog, Lacey had learned over the weekend, thanks to an email from Wanda that was so smug that Lacey could practically hear the laughter coming through her computer speakers.
It was, as she'd discovered last night, a horrifying trainwreck of a thing, all incoherent rambling and subject pinball and . . . very, very Hank. It was also -- well, a trainwreck. She couldn't look away. So don't mind the proprietor of the diner today if you happened to catch her staring at her laptop and occasionally letting out a loud and thoroughly undecorous guffaw. It was going to be the theme for the day.
Luke's is open, and permeated with a certain . . . horrified hilarity.
