The Park, Friday Morning
Since he presumably hadn't seen Ben since sometime last week, Tony felt the need to embarrass himself by inviting the guy along for his morning run.
How did so many people do this so easily? It was cruel.
Luckily for him, they stopped halfway through the park in order for Tony drink something. And to catch his breath before he passed out from whining too much while running. He needed that oxygen for precious muscle functions!
[[For the Jedi, but open as a park is!]]

"If you bend over a bit, it might help," Ben offered. Helpfully.

"I'm good!" Tony insisted, possibly bending forward just a tiny bit.

It should be noted Ben wasn't really even breathing hard. The bastard.

The turtle-duck-thing flapped it's wings, slowly making it's way over to them in a way that was probably easily avoidable.

"Is it normal for here?" A beat. "I mean, as normal as those blue deer."
Which weren't normal at all.

"Think it's like the squirrels maybe?" Tony asked, giving it a prod. As soon as the stick touched it, Tony jerked back as if electrocuted and promptly disappeared from sight.

He glared at the duckturtle. "Where'd he go?"
If this turned into another labyrinth thing, Ben was going to have himself a wee breakdown.

How he longed for the days his life made sense.

Yes, Ben it's a flying, stalking magical teleporting turtleduck.

"Well, we wouldn't know unless we tried to get someone from town to poke the turtle-duck," Tony replied reasonably.

Touch the turtle-duck! Touch it!

This was going so badly.

He ran a little way, then jumped up and landed on top of the turtle-duck, whose wings fell off.
"Sithspi-" Ben managed as he fell off the thing, then the turtle-duck touched him and he was next to Tony in the dorm lobby.
"Well, that didn't really work."

was strangely much less handwavey than usualhappened to coincide with his today?"Hey," he jogged over, having spotted him and Ben. "Didn't think you were the... running type." Ben, yes. Tony? Not so much.
Although to be fair, Bobby didn't really seem like the 'running type' at first glance either.
[SOOOOO MUCH SP.]

"No, I asked him for help training." A beat. "And I'm pretty sure Ben isn't human."
Yeah, that was a suspicious look he was giving you, Ben. Deal with it.

Jacen had weird ideas of fun even before he'd turned Sith.
