The Smash Club (which will someday be the Devil's Nest): Saturday, 5/21

Even after a couple weeks on the island, Woody Boyd still wasn't sure how he'd ended up here when he was heading for Boston, but he sure wasn't going to knock it. The pay was good, there were no pigs in the club except for Friday nights when those 3 talking ones came in and sat around complaining about the price of straw, wood, and bricks, and everybody around here was just so goldarned friendly!

If maybe a little weird. City folks; what could you do?

[Open!]

"I need a drink." Or five. His life was so empty!

Not even his awesome hair could fill the void like alcohol did!

Tony thought back to when he was last cheerful. Before Vietnam wherever it was this time that he was injured. "Something strong."

Little did Isabela know about anything being wrong. Everything here still looked strange to her that going back a few decades had barely caught her notice. (Except for those guys sporting the most horrible haircut ever.)

So when she got to the bar, she was hoping for a rather different smile and a very different view. One with views and a short skirt. Not that this view was bad. "You covering for Bo, cutie?"

What? He was!

Oh, he was new and green behind the ears. Isabela's grin widened because wasn't it fun to make innocent guys gulp?

"Yes. Yes, you are," she confirmed as she leaned against the bar. Let's see what that did, hmmm? "And I don't think I've ever been called ma'am before. It's Isabela."

Rude looked her over appreciatively, from behind his cheap sunglasses. "Come here... often?"

"Ooooooh, someone needs to tell you that line is kind of lame," Isabela smirked, but she could look Rude over with just as much appreciation, thank you very much. He was nice and excuse her while she shifted to show herself off a little better.

"But since I actually work here, I'd say yes."

Rude's tie was a little too thin, his sunglasses were a little too big, and he was wearing a black fedora to go with his suit, but he was still the same Rude. More or less. He waved the bartender over.

"I'm on a mission from Tseng."

"Follow me!" Bozo called out to the crowd of NPCs that he he had picked up when he left his apartment earlier. This always happened. The man just could not stop leading parades all over the place.

The route to the bar involved a march around the dance floor and several twirls and throws of his baton before he reached a seat and sat down.

"Excuse me, but could I please get a bottle of seltzer?" Bozo asked.

"Yes, I am!" Bozo said. "And what's your name, young man?"

After playing Zork for several hours, Columbus finally felt the need for a break. All text and no random violence definitely was a cause for eyestrain.

So he decided to check out the nightclub that he'd heard about on the radio. Granted Columbus wasn't a drinker but at least it was a little different.

And that's when he saw him. Tallahassee. Behind the bar. With more than two weeks in Fandom it was so good to see a familiar face that Columbus ignored the fact that this guy had no hat or duster and wasn't armed to the teeth.

Furthermore he was so happy to see him that Columbus went in for a hug.

"You're here!" he said happily.

Gosh darn?

"Where's Witchita and Little Rock?" Columbus asked pulling away a tad to look at Tallahassee.

Wait. He had hair.

Eric had woken up to discover his hair was now feathered and his wardrobe had been invaded by the ghost of Don Johnson. He stalked into the bar in a suit jacket with the sleeves rolled up (Why? Why were the humans doing this again?) and glared at the new guy.

"Where's Bo?"

That...didn't sound even remotely like the Bo Eric knew, and so he contented himself to stare at Woody for a long moment.

"Hello," he said finally. "I'd like a TrueBlood."

"Now there's a good question, this one isn't as fun."

No, Eric's question wasn't aimed at her, but Isabela felt the need to share.

"Excuse me," Bozo said, walking over to the VIP section."I have a whole circus named after me and kids across the country are on a waiting list to get into my audience. Is that important enough to get into this section?"
