Alice was decidedly green around the gills today. She had taken to keeping Saltines by her bedside, which seemed to help most mornings, but most was decidedly not all. Her child, whatever else he or she might be -- and Alice was thoroughly convince she was a she, but that was neither here nor there -- her child certainly delighted in making her presence known.

The music would not be especially loud or aggressive today.
