Groovy Tunes, Tuesday

Right. There seemed to be little hiding the bump, by this point; it was hardly a bump, and more a decided protuberance. One that shifted position uncomfortably while Alice attempted sleep. It was hardly logical for a tumor to do that, so Alice was forced to admit that it was not entirely impossible that her condition was, in fact, exactly what it had seemed all along, and that she ought to purchase those ridiculous infantilizing clothes before her own gave out from the strain of bobby pins. This was becoming absurd, and would only get worse.

She refused to buy anything that had any variation of the word 'baby' on it. Strictly out of principle. She was nineteen years old, thank you very much.

Ariel had mentioned working at the clothing store. Perhaps Alice could ask her for assistance, on the matter? Simple, plain clothing that would cover the not-a-bump that would soon need a name. And a great many other things Alice had not gotten around to purchasing, much less thinking about.

Today seemed a good day for loud music and delaying the inevitable.

(open-ocd-free! Alice is visibly the equivalent of a little over six months along -- it's a spice thing. The icons seem a little further along, yes, but look, I have a movie of Dominique Swain pregnant, I've been dying to use these for months ...)
