Ben Skywalker had not stepped foot in Fandom since Tony Stark and Ender Wiggin had become an item. He hadn't asked for the details (though he probably should have...), had just taken his leather jacket and his motorcycle and his broken heart (and a portion of the diamond mine fortune) and roared off into movies the distance.

But now that the movie career hadn't worked out rumors reached him that Tony and Ender were planning to get married, Ben just couldn't stay away.

He and his amazing motorcycle (sans helmet, but plus cigarette because he was a rebel) came back to Fandom in a cloud of exhaust and emo. He barely blinked as his cigarette disappeared from his fingers.

"Fandom," he sighed. "I haven't missed you."

Seifer was on his way back from the church and stopped when he saw the rider. Taking in the lack of helmet, he shook his head. "Good morning, Ben."

The helmet would ruin his hair and make it more difficult for the audience to see who he was!

Ben gave Seifer a quick nod in acknowledgement. "Is it good? Can anything ever be good again?"

Ben was a lot of fun at parties.

Hopefully Seifer and Ben are never at the same party at the same time. "It should be, our Lord made it all. Sometimes I doubt though." He was thinking of his own troubles, with ...them.

And now it was his turn to turn and stare pensively at the water. "I shouldn't doubt His reasoning, but I do." He turned back to the washed up actor other man. "It is good to see you here in Fandom again, though I do not think it is a good return for you."

He's heard the rumors, Ben. And possibly seen fliers.

"I always thought Ender had more sense," he lamented as a single tear trickled down his cheek. "I had to see for myself and make sure he's not a robot or mind-controlled or an evil twin--"
Because those had all happened to his family before...

"--but I don't look forward to seeing either my family or the Starks."

Yeah, seminary school was turning Seifer into a very happy fellow. "And as far as I know, Ender is doing this of his own free will."

Ben finally pulled his head from his ass noticed what Seifer was wearing.

"What's with the costume?"

Maybe he should get a costume too!

Seifer glanced down, and ran a hand over his suit. "I became a priest while I was away." Nevermind he wasn't gone long enough to go through college AND seminary.

Damn plot twists and rapid aging.

"It seemed the thing to do after the way things ended when I left."

How did they end?

It seemed that this was the place for people on motorcycles to arrive and look dramatic. Because the next person to pull up was Guy Gardner, fresh from his military service.

In space.

"Fandom," he said to no one. Even though Ben was right there. "Still the same."

"It stole my cigarette," Ben complained.

"You shouldn't smoke," Guy said, squinting off into the distance as he looked bad ass on the motorcycle. "It's bad for your health."

"You're not my father," Ben retorted, scowling.

Beat.

"...right?"

Around here it never hurt to check.

...you know, most people didn't have this problem.

"I don't know," Guy replied slowly. "I haven't thought about my past before joining the space army."

Before the accident.

"Space army?" Ben frowned as sad music began to play and a little rain cloud appeared just over Ben.

He was special that way.

"Ender was in the space army."

He didn't know!

"Everyone was in the space army. Everyone... worth a damn." He had trauma, couldn't you tell from the stoicism?

Hermione's long-lost twin sister, Sue, who may in fact have been Hermione since the audience had never seen them together in the same place before and that raised some questions, had just happened by after a trip to Atlantic City to get that pesky drunken marriage dissolved, and also, to encourage her own gambling problem.

"Hey, stranger," she greeted him.

Ben nodded sullenly at her because he was a rebel.

"Yo."

"You seem like such a rebel," she told him. "I like rebels." She married them in Vegas.

"Then you'll like me," he promised. "I'm super-dark."

[smartestone]

"How super-dark are you?" Sue wondered. Broodily.

"Let's put it this way: have you heard of the Skywalkers?" Ben asked.

[smartestone]

Her eyes widened briefly. Just for a second. "The name sounds a little familiar," she lied.

Ender... was not here to see Ben. In fact, he wasn't here at all - if he'd known Ben were here, he might have run! Hid! Burst into tears! Stared soulfully out the window with his eyes just that shade of perfectly teary that never really became tears!

But no, he didn't know. And he had a wedding - his wedding. Scant few windows away from the causeway behind what might have been a mock-up of a wall with a window in it, he was trying on his ties.

He had so many. Which would Tony like best?

But Ben could find him. Ben could always find him in a way that would be kind of stalkery, frankly, if it weren't for the Thwarted True Love thing.

And since Ender hadn't noticed him, Ben would do the crying for both of them under the little black rain cloud that was misting his hair photogenically and probably ruining his leather jacket.

Appearing behind Ender was Tony. Looking evil sure of himself and his plans to marry Ender.

All to gain revenge over his nemesis: Ben Skywalker.

Oh, and was he now hugging Ender from behind? Just to rub it in to the person he didn't realize was there.

Ben's hands clenched into fists of rage. This was even worse than that day he'd left his cake out in the rain, even though he'd never have that recipe again!

There had to be a way to stop that wedding!
