MCA Lobby, Tuesday

Zayne wasn't normally at the desk on a Tuesday, but he needed to get some more paperwork in order after renting out an apartment to Jon. But right now, despite the paperwork, Zayne was happy. The building was almost filled with residents, everything seemed to be in working order, and nobody had been in an elevator accident since the weekend everything was insane.

Right now, there was only one drawback to everything: the door in the middle of the lobby.

Zayne didn't seem to have a key for it. He was pretty sure it was just a janitor's closet, but without confirmation and a key, how could he really know? He was going to have to break into it at some point, but he needed to time it right just in case there was a monster in there or something. Yes, this was an actual concern.

[OOC: Slow until I'm home from work of course.

if you're interested in renting at MCA, there are a couple apartments available. Information on apartments is here.]

After her trip to the trooper station, Audrey to do a couple other things, like say, figure out where to live. Which would be why she would be heading into the apartment building.

"Hi," she said. "Do you have any vacancies right now?"

"Still got the shine on me, even," she said. "Are you good with month to month leases?" Since she had no idea how long this assignment would last.

"Why would I have issues with su-" She stopped herself midsentence. "That's a question I'm just not going to finish. I just need something small. It's just me. Sun is perfectly fine. In fact, I like sun."

"Audrey," she said, maybe thinking he looked a little young to be her landlord, but that wasn't the strangest thing she'd had to deal with today. "Can I see it now?"

She'd likely take it anyway, but it would be nice to know it wasn't crawling with anything or trashed from the last resident.

...Of course he could make his keys do that.

"Simple enough," Audrey said, following him. "So how exactly did you get your keys in your hand like that?"

"Trust me, it's not anywhere close to the first weird thing," she told him.

"I had to go to the trooper station for work," she said, following him inside. "So... multidimensional hub, huh?"

Audrey considered this. "Good thing you've got this elevator then, huh?"

"You did say the Force could be used to push buttons..." Was she willing to blame it for the pony? Yes, yes she was.

"Oh, that's just how I like my teaching ponies. With powers," she said, following the direction around the corner.

Audrey just did a quick runthrough, making sure nothing jumped out at her as being really out of place, then returned to the living room. "And just to be sure, there's nothing I need to know, right? It's not haunted or anything?"

And here she'd been joking. "You know what, I can live with safe. I'll take it."

Considering how little 'her stuff' was, that might be ten minutes. "I'll be there," she promised, taking the key.
