Mystery Sign Theater 3000, Saturday
In a stunning display of his own ability to avoid Fandom insanity without even knowing it, Mitchell hadn't been around for the past week. Sure, Nina and George's behavior had become increasingly more erratic, and he was worried - worried enough to stick around for longer than intended.
Still, he was getting back to work. He helped the staff set up the sign in the morning--
Now Showing
Herbert
-- and went inside, poking and prodding through his files so he could come up with a few non-box-officey features for next week.

Which, incidentally, was about the only thing she remembered clearly from the boarding corridor.

"Glad to see you're here," he said. "... and I suppose this solves the Carl mystery."
Reality was being eaten. Why hadn't they guessed that?

"And hello! I got into town a few days back."

He shrugged. "People and things are vanishing, yes. Sorry, it's all I've been thinking about this week."

Re: Manager's Office
"We had about a week together, then I went out for a class and when I got back, he wasn't there. According to everything, he'd never been there. Dinah explained that it was going around, so I came here before things got any worse."
Not that they could get much worse, really, but Jack was aware that particular opinion was on the melodramatic side.
"No one really knows much about what's causing it. Yet."
[OOC: Edited after I looked at actual wording of the broadcast.]
Re: Manager's Office
A sudden surge of concern struck Mitchell across the chest, and he snagged his phone off the counter and pressed redial.
"Just like that?"
Re: Manager's Office
Re: Manager's Office
No connection. He pressed redial again.
[[ and i hit the sack! Night! Will pick this up come morn. ]]
