Wonka's- Thursday after the meeting

When Susan got out of the town meeting, her next step wasn't even a question for her. She just walked right across the street to Wonka's.

It didn't look to be open, so she figured the shamelessly modded NPC's workers had decided work was for other people today. Luckily for Susan, she didn't have to worry about things like locks and doors unless she chose to. So she simply walked through the door and turned on the lights, and began perusing the inventory. Specifically the chocolates.

[What, looting the candy store is canon. If you want to loot it too, Susan'll totally open the door for you.]

The interruption during the meeting made it clear that food was a useful weapon, so Bruce decided to break into Wonka's, take what he might need, and be sure to pay the owner back if there was even an opportunity to do so later on.

It took the wind out of his stealthy sails when he saw that somebody was doing exactly the same thing, only openly. So he tried the door... which was locked. He quickly picked the lock and then walked in. "Getting some supplies?" he asked.

"That's exactly why I'm here, too," Bruce said. Although he wasn't going to be eating any of the supplies. He was so judging. "And if this actually works, I'm going to make sure the owner is well compensated."

"Forget about the price. It'll be a reward for leaving the place to use for weapons," Bruce said. "I'll just take one of the bags. Anything else I take is going in my belt."

Sure enough, he started dropping candies into several of the pouches on his utility belt, sorted by candy type and presumed flavor. The bag would be for a random selection in case of desperation or large groups.

Yeah, he planned this out.

"It seems practical at times like this," Bruce said immediately as he grabbed some juicy looking gummies and dropped them into a pouch.

"There's plenty of room if you pack efficiently," Bruce said. "You don't want to know how many throwing stars I have in one of the pockets."

"Not replaced. The gummies are in addition," Bruce said. "I'm not willing to give up on traditional weapons completely just yet."

Yes. For Bruce, throwing stars were traditional.

"I have some bolas I could spare," Bruce said. "Even if you're not experienced with throwing them, it's still a heavy weight on the end of a rope. I'd offer some explosives, but you don't seem the type."

There was a very good chance that Bruce was better armed than anyone on the island right now. And he had decided that candy would be the most useful weapon. Strange days.

Bruce reached into one of his pouches and pulled out a couple three foot lengths of thin but tough-looking rope with weighted balls on either end. "Go crazy with those if you need to. The weights are heavy enough that they'll knock a normal person out. I don't know how effective they'll be against the Auditors, but any distraction seems to be helpful."
